USING WS_FTP

This is help in using WS_FTP to upload pages etc. into your directory. First you will need the program if you don't already have you can obtain this program from alot of sites. Here is a few of them:
Download.com| Windows95.com| Tucows| ShareWare|

All these sites have a search option just type in FTP and hit search and it will take you to all the FTP programs. Look for the WS_FTP program and click on it to start downloading it. Once downloaded you have to unzip the program which means you need a unzip program. For Windows95 you should just download WinZip95 from one of the above sites. Windows 3.1 should get winzip 16 bit.. Ok you have have installed WS_FTP and want to upload your web site first open up WS_FTP you will need to make a new profile.

Profile name=Use your name.
Host= www.instanet.com (or www.yourdomain.com)
User ID= your Instanet user name.
Password=password for your user name.

Once in your directory you need to access the public_html directory. If you have your own domain name the public_html directory is the same name as your domain name. Go into public_html and upload and upload all files needed to complete your Web site.
